Consulting & Engineering
HEINZMANN Automation offers services within consulting, design and engineering, enabling our customers to take advantage of our extensive experience from more than 35 years in the marine automation business. Our employees have experience from large and complex projects, serving as project managers, discipline leaders or engineering support. We can contribute to all project phases including ship and system design, commissioning, and test/verification.
We supply engineering services to high-end customers like the Royal Norwegian Navy and the Coast Guard.

HEINZMANN Automation is committed to serve our deliveries through the entire lifetime of the customers assets. That includes spare part deliveries, technical support & troubleshooting, system updates and retrofit.

Scheduled Maintenance
Maintenance programs can be optimised to improve system reliability and reduce maintenance / downtime costs associated with unexpected equipment failure. We offer development and set up of complete maintenance programs for automation systems / Integrated Automation Systems (IAS).
Our concepts take care of all system interfaces and integration between the different suppliers. For a propulsion system this might include: machinery, propellers, regulators/governors, remote control, etc.
Our Service Engineers have a high level of expertise in performing periodic maintenance, e.g. in relation to DNV class notations E0 and ECO, and additional regulations which require regular testing of field instruments and safety systems for machinery.
Actuator Repair & Overhaul
We perform overhaul on actuators, and we have specialized equipment in house at our facilities in order to overhaul the complete HEINZMANN range of actuators.
