HEINZMANN Automation - Experts in Engine Management!

The core of the SeaMACS is the Alarm and Monitoring. The redundant architecture of the system is designed to allow minimum downtime by providing optimum reliability. Any downtime can in the worst case induce costs and damage to equipment, therefore the ability to have redundancy both at the top level and the lower level is a standard part of the design.

In order to meet future requirements for SCADA networks the system is Ethernet-based. Ethernet is capable of handling large amounts of data, it is transparent and scalable. The SeaMACS integrated automation system is built around this principle and can easily be expanded or modified for future upgrades or add-ons, with minimum impact on the existing system.

SeaMACS Integrated Automation Systems

One of the main benefits of the SeaMACS is the system scalability. It can be delivered both as a stand-alone alarm and monitoring system, as well as a fully Integrated Automation System (IAS) where the user will monitor as well as control.

System Features

SeaMACS monitoring is designed to be intuitive and the user interface allows for for easy navigation.

The system gives an overview of the following:

  • All current active alarms
  • A summary of a predefined number of the last active alarms
  • An alarm history log that stores all alarm conditions and alarm transitions for a predefined period

In addition, the system offers a combined trend and alarm view which allows performing analysis of trend and alarms together. That way, the operator can analyse trends and alarms for a given time span in one single window.
